Question to Scan about Corsair PSU's :)

Hi guys,

Just wanted to confirm something about the Corsair PSUs.

As I understand it the PSUs have a 5yr warranty but I have heard that the RMA takes place in the USA after the 1st year if bought from anywhere but Scan? but if I have read your warranty info tab on the product page correctly it seems that if I buy from Scan you will sort all RMAs in those 5yrs directly so I dont have to deal with the USA, is this correct?

Dont want to sound like a dunce here but its more a case of have I understood your info online correctly not the fact that the info is correct

So to clarify myself, all Corsair PSUs bought from Scan that need an RMA within the 5yrs will be handled directly by Scan?

Judging by other products, lets take EVGA for example, they have "lifetime" warranty and such "Duration" is 999 months, but RTB is 12 months, which would mean lifetime exists direct with EVGA and 1 year standard warranty is with Scan.

If you compare with Corsair PSUs, both Duration and RTB is 60 months (5 years), this means its 5 year warranty is with Scan. If this is correct then I think I will buy Corsair PSUs from Scan only

ps you can still RMA to Corsair if that is your wish though
