Faulty HDD - Can You Help Please?

    Hi Scan...

On one of my recent orders (3rd MARCH), I purchased a 250G WD PATA WD2500AAJB HDD....

I didn't use it for a month or so as I hadn't found time to build the system in question. I finally got round to it last week and discovered that the Hard Disk I bought is faulty - it makes a tic-tic-tic sound when attempting to write to a certain part of the drive, and freezes the PC. I have tried various reinstalls and even swapped out the motherboard as I thought it was that that was causing the problem until I figured out what it was. My new (but old LOL) motherboard has S.M.A.R.T. enabled which detected also the fault with the HDD....

At this stage, I have found my invoice, I have the HDD, but i'm still looking for the antistat bag that probab had the warranty sticker on it. I can provide the invoice number if you need it.

Is there anything you can do to help me PRETTY PLEASE?

    Best Wishes, Mark, aka LunarJetman
