RMA HDD and Replacement product request

    Greetings,

I have just purchased from Scan and installed 3x Seagate 500gb (ST3500320NS) hard disks and one of them is now vibrating like a washing machine, I had just finished instlaling the OS and apps when this started. Please could scan advise on what I need to do to get this drive replaced.

I also just purchased the Icybox IB-360AStUS-BL IDE and SATA disk enclosure and to cut a very long story short it is causing my USB drivers to get corrupted whenever it is connected to my system (two sepearte systems, one of which I spent 2 days litterely reinstalling to clear the corruption).
Even if this product is faulty I do not want a direct replacement for this as I need 100% reliabilty and not be thinking is it going to mess up my system again. (sorry for the rant but its been a nightmare).

Please can scan advice on this, I would like to get somthing like the sharkoon SATA caddy which is a bit more in value so I am happy to pay the additional value if Scan could kindly accomodate this.

    Kind regards,

    BS

Re: RMA HDD and Replacement product request

I had an e-mail requesting more details regarding this yesterday which I promptly replied but have not heard anything since.

I have a PC out of action due to this hard disk failing and spent hours rectifying issues casued by the Icybox issue. Please could someone at Scan look into this.

    Regards,

    BS
