How long will my RMA take?

My RMA request has been at the stage of "Awaiting Replacement / Credit" for the passed 4 days. I was just wondering how long it usually takes for the stage to complete and for the account to get credited with the refund. Thanks

chance is scans now sent it off to the makers for further testing, i have been waiting over a week now with no joy since the awaiting replacement came through.

Would they do this even if it was something as basic as a hard disk having bad sectors? It even says "Scan diagnosis Bad sectors."

Hope it doesn't take too long, I've already bought my replacement and I'm a bit out of pocket at the moment :/
