    Can you please refund my money for RMA

    I received an email on the 31st July to say my RMA had been sorted and the refund authorised. I'm still waiting for the refund. Can Scan please tell me why you seem to take 5x longer than anyone else I deal with to issue refunds??? Would it be ok if I ordered items and paid Scan a week later?

    Also I gave Scan another chance after my Maxtor fiasco (long story) and placed another order. Unfortunately it's being delivered today 3 days late as I was told first the hard drive was out of stock (was in stock when I placed my order) then I was promised for a Thursday delivery and that never happened as I was told the mini SD card wasn't in stock (shows as being in stock still). I removed the mini SD card and card reader and I've been charged for the lot. Can I please be refunded for that as well.

    I'm not trying to be a pain but this is really poor. Please let me know who to pm with details.

    Mick thanks for the reply. I can't PM you as your mail box is full. I think I spoke to you yesterday on the phone. I'm still waiting for this refund and I think over a week is unacceptable. I want this back on my card to get my finances straight again as it's on my card and it needs to be paid soon. If I have to pay it and claim the credit back they send it in a cheque which is a major pain as I don't work near my bank and shouldn't have to do this anyways. The RMA is: Removed

    I'm also due a refund for the miniSD card and card reader from this order as I had to cancel them as the miniSD wasn't in stock (still shows as being in stock). Whilst it's not much I again don't want to be waiting over a week for the refund. The Order number is: Removed

    Both refunds were passed through to the banking system yesterday, the refunds will be reflected in your account within 3 working days from yersterday.

    Sorry for some reason my quick reply seemed to overwrite your post.

    As I was going to say we always quote 7-10 working days for the turnaround of RMA's, my calculation put's your RMA turnaround at 9 working days, which is within our targets.

    As for in comparision with 3rd party companies I cannot comment as I personally don't have any experience of their systems / policies.

    Wesley, thanks for the reply. I've said my peace but think it's an unacceptably long time to take to issue funds and can cause problems with credit cards when the payment date comes up.
