Hello,
A couple of months back I purchased an ASUS Striker II motherboard (along with alot of other gear) to build a Tri-SLI rig. To date, nearly 3 months later (and 3 sets of 3 graphics cards!!) I still cant get this machine to run stable. It will boot happily into windows but try any games and the whole system freezes. I must have tried every variation possible in the BIOS slowly tweaking voltages and timings, Sync and Unsync'd memory, even trying to set the GTL ref voltages but nothing I have tried can get this rig stable. Does scan offer a service where they will set up the BIOS for me and stablise this rig?
If not then how do I go about returning the motherboard to you for refund (as it will not do the job it was designed for) and getting an XFX motherboard to replace it with? People dont seem to be having problems the the XFX boards where as the Asus forums are full of system freeze posts.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Ginge.
