Thanks! Sorry for being so keen

After placing my online query, I thought of posting here as well with the hope of additional information from the masses.

I was expecting them to be even more than that. The 1020W is just slightly more expensive than the Corsair 1000W, so it's not too bad

    Edit:

Silly me, was reading peak power! Still, only £20 more for the 950W than the 1000W Corsair, and apparently it's the best in it's class

    Re: Enermax Revolution 85+ availability?

Only 2 UK suppliers currently list prices for them.
Cheapest is Onestoppcshop.com, but they don't have stock yet.
I am waiting for them to get stock then I'll buy a 1050W beast from them for around £188inc Delivery unless somewhere else can give me a better deal.

The other UK supplier is ScanComputers in Manchester, who actually have stock, but are much more expensive and want about £222 for a 1050W Enermax Revolution 85+ delivered. Yeah some £34 more expensive!

As we are limited in the UK presently to just those 2 suppliers I mailed Enermax in Germany to see if they could either tell me who was Enermax's UK distributor (so I could then contact them to see where they had sent stock already who was going to stock it) also I checked Enermax's list of UK resellers. Out of about 15 in the UK only the above 2 list this new PSU on their sites. I mailed a few and some of their 'buying departments' are looking into it for me.

Enermax told me in reply to my email to them to wait 2-weeks then more UK resellers will have stock.
Thus I am hanging fire, and hoping with more people listing them the pricing will get more competitive.

    Cheers

    Re: Enermax Revolution 85+ availability?

They are very good PSU's, I got mine as a prize for going to the GOOC Gigabyte in the UK, and have no use to it as I have a 1kw, even though it is much more efficient

    Re: Enermax Revolution 85+ availability?

I've had my 1050W Enermax Revolution installed for nearly 2 weeks now and I just cannot even get it warm to the touch!
The fan on it still has yet to come on even after hours of Crysis.
Therefore I still haven't heart a peep out of it....yes IT IS SILENT in my system.

    I am powering 'only' a core i7 920, 1 HD, 1 optical drive, 1x ATI HD4870X2 and 7 case fans.
I guess I would need to load it even more and could have easily got away with the 850W version powering multiple hard drives and 2 ATI HD4870X2's which is something I intend to go to later on this year.

I recommend these Enermax Revolution 85+ PSU's to anyone out there looking for a high-end solution.

    Re: Enermax Revolution 85+ availability?

Good to know, my next upgrade for a psu may be the 1250W for a stable quad sli setup, atm my 1000W is more than enough (core i7 965 @ 4.35Ghz, GTX295, Gig. Extreme, 6gb 1600mhz ram)

Wish I had so many UK suppliers to choose from at the beginning of Feb...early adopter pays the price...literally!
