Yeah but someone piped up saying that they thought it would be a seasonic, which is why CWT is in the table, but with '???', as i think it is correct, but wouldn't put money on it, if you know what you mean...

    edit:

It was meddling mike (), but it was only because it tied in with the release of a seasonic.

So i'll change it to CWT - ??? now

Another vote for anything Seasonic based. My S12 430W has been running 24/7 for a shade over 3 years (about 1200 days).

    Re: Reliable PSU please

I would say Enermax, but you have to pay that bit extra for the best!
I bought this 650W Enermax about 5-years ago. Back then it was top-of-the-range and I was having trouble with all sorts of different make top name PSU's not booting up my new Abit motherboard.

In that 5-years my pc has been on some 15-18 hours a day, everyday, and never missed a beat. Their PSU's are always class leading when first released, always quiet, always well built and now they have just released their Enermax Revolution 85+ range one of those babies will be my next PSU as it wipes the floor with the competition, and and it looks the dogs proverbials too, (see Enermax's site)

    Re: Reliable PSU please

Thanks for the post about corsair sourcing from seasonic.. interesting as I have been searching for a PSU for the last month.. with corsair HX series being cheaper than the seasonic counterparts I think I will go corsair!

I have only good to say about The HX 620 dam good PSU very quiet efficient reliable and strong, I rate Sea Sonic very highly though, strange their own branded are more money that's why I buy the Corsair.

    Re: Reliable PSU please

I can't believe nobody has mentioned the Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 650 clicky.

They are fantastic. I have one and it's uber-quiet and stable, honestly you can barely tell that it's on.

Although it seems to be about £20 more expensive than when I bought it, but that's probably the £/$ hit.

    Re: Reliable PSU please

I'm going to second Lozza81; my Enermax has performed flawlessly for as long as I needed it, and my PC is on most of the time.
(Also, the Noisetaker is great in a stealth PC; quiet as a... a... a very quiet PSU fan.)

    Re: Reliable PSU please

Maybe overkill but a Enermax Revolution 850 is also a great PSU.
