It wouldnt work in the other software buddy, and thats even worse, compro software is utter dog sh!te, now..i know i said i wouldnt buy another compro but...the E900 (about 30quid more than the E700) is a pci-e dual digital card and has seen some good reviews, going to see if the guys at scan can let me swap out my e700 and pay the difference as its unfit for purpose, advertised to work with vista yet theres a known issue and compro are even aware of it ! Wouldnt like to say if the cards dead or not but i doubt it tbh, think its more a driver issue which compro are yet to address.

Hopefully they shouldnt have a problem with it, i will never touch an e700 again, and instead of giving me a refund ( because i only shop at scan anyway ) they would just let me keep my business there and upgrade the card, buying a few other bits too..seems im there every week at the moment !

^ bundled software are always pants, the one that came with my tv card was utter crap too, have you tried it with either progdvb, mediaportal or powercinema? just have a try with them even if you are gonna replace it.

Mate, i cant recommend enough !, ive not had 1 issue with this e900f so far, i use vista ultimate 64 MCE and it works like a trooper, record one freeview whilst watching another, or record two whilst watching one of them. Bundled remote is a little large for my liking but ive not used it yet as i have the official MCE keyboard.

Price is a bit steep but its an awesome bit of kit.

Only downside i could say it has is you need to feed two coax cables into it, what i did was split my signal from the roof into a Y splitter and just run two cables into the card. Theres a picture here actually....
