    Appreciation of SCAN service ...

    I ordered a Vertex drive from Scan - got upgraded to weekend delivery after it wad delayed for no fault of my own. Ordered a CoolerMaster Silent PSU, got a no questions-asked refund when I said it wasn't silent. And got told to order a BeQuiet PSU (the customer service chap said he owned one and it was the quietest he had ever used). And he was right. The BeQuiet PSUs are certainly the quietest I've ever used or heard.


    Really excellent customer service from Scan. And I appreciate it ! In today's depressing economic climate when every business is turning cut-throat, it is a refreshing contrast. I think that companies that have a loyal customer base - because of their customer service - are more likely to ride out the recession than companies that provide cheap goods but questionable service.

    Are all the customer service agents geeks as well ? They really seem to use the tech, not just know about it. Telling someone at Scan that I have only the weekend to test and install new hardware is not met with derision but understanding Discussing about "quiet" systems leads to real tips and informed discussion, not someone shrugging you off. And added to that prices are always reasonable.

    Well said that man! A lot of companies could learn a thing or two from Scan's customer service team, iv never delt with better!
