Packaging - what's going on Scan?

Received my order today, 1 HDD and 1 memory module.

HDD was well packaged, bubble wrapped and all good.

Memory module was bubble wrapped, then upon closer inspection:

This is exactly how it turned up, all I did was take the bubble wrap off. What's the deal? It wasn't sealed, the anti-stat has got a torn off label on it, how am I to know this is a new and working module?

Generic OEM memory certainally used to come in large trays, none of them individually packaged in an anti-static bag. This is how we used to sell memory back when I worked in a local PC shop.

Granted Scan should have used a better bag than that, but it reality, there is nothing wrong with packaging something like that.
