Dear Scan
I have been a customer of scan for quite some time now, with almost every pc hardware order from you I have made full usage of the "Hexus member free postage" offer you have.
I have herd for awhile now of scans ultra-efficient, very pleasing customer service and really though nothing of it. In fact sometimes on Hexus I would have though Scan were the only company to do RMA's and really could not see what all the fuss was about.
However recently I ordered a couple of parts from scan expecting the usual pay, wait and then receive item as expected like most other internet warehouses. But on this particular order there was a stock problem order was delayed and this was when I really felt the increased customer service division compared to rival companies. Not only were my Anxious PM's to various Scan officials regarding the delayed order replied to very quickly, with clear detailed instructions of what do sent, but also when I phoned scan customer service, and was greeted with the usual Computerised phoned service I thought "here we go again" but literally within seconds I was on the phone to a customer services representative would not only helped me on my current stock situation but also extensively advised me on new hardware and never failed to answer my questions (somewhat blunt given my adored hardware had been delayed!).
The situation was quickly resolved with no hassle of problems what so ever, with a total of three scan staff readily available when my Order had been delayed It really made me think "where else would you get this kind of service with a conventional internet retailer?"
Although Scan can be expensive for some things and I am not the kind of person to gush bout companies just because the masses are doing it here on Hexus, I certainly think Scan are the far and above the best company to go with purely for the entire buying experience, the RMA's and the support throughout be it here on Hexus or via the customer service line.
