    Does ScanSure cover failed bios updates?

    No, as this would be covered under the manufactuers warranty, providing the relevent manufacturers instructions have been followed when carrying out the bios update.

    what mobo is it? Some intel boards are impossible to really screw up I know.. I've tried they rock IF you know how to recover them.

    Sorry I meant if you accidentally flash with wrong bios? Or your PC shuts down during upgrade?

    fadsarmy,

    Modern motherboards would not allow you to flash the wrong BIOS, if the PC shuts down during the upgrade or their is a power cut ETC, then that is beyond your reasonable control, but as long as you carried out everything inline with the mnaufacturers warranty all would be covered.

    In principle to your question however if you accidently flash the wrong bios and the system actually allowed you to do so, then yes Scansure would step in and cover you, but 99.99% of times the warranty would be covered.
