    Knackered BFG 8800 GT

I bought a BFG 8800 GT from Scan just over a year ago.

I started getting a few artifacts in games and now I get red dots and $ signs at POST. It tries to boot windows but BSOD with a nvlddmkm.sys error.

I've tried reseating it. Theres no dust build up, the temperature seems fine. I tried it on two different PCs with the same results and different drivers didn't help either. The PC boots and runs fine using the onboard gfx card.

    ASUS P5E-VM-HDMI
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600
    2x4GB DDR2-800

Any advice on a fix or should I seek repair or replacement?
