    Exclamation Logitech MX Revolution RMA

    Hi,

I have a problem with the scroll wheel and AC adapter on my retail boxed MX Revolution with 2 year warranty (purchased 17/2/2008). I was advised as follows:

Further to your email, before we can issue a returns number please contact Logitech on 0203 0248159, they will issue a reference number. Once we have this reference number we can issue the rma.
I phoned Logitech and got a returns reference number, and confirmed that warranty claims outside 12 months are still dealt with by the reseller. But now your RMA department are refusing to issue an RMA number?!

Further to your mail, we can only deal with Logitech warranties for the first 12 months after this time the item has to go back to Logitech direct. The mouse you have purchased, is an oem mouse that comes with a 12 months warranty, please contact Logitech and they may be able to sort the issue.
Firstly, the mouse I purchased is NOT brown box OEM, it is full retail. It clearly states a 2 year warranty on the box, as well as on your website at the time of purchase. (I appreciate that you now only stock the OEM version, but your RMA guy should have checked my original invoice...).

I would really appreciate it if one of you guys could sort this out and issue me with an RMA number

    Cheers,

    Su

    Sumanji

Hi i have clarified the situation for you, we advertise the item as 12 month warranty and always have because we can only deal with our suppliers within the fist 12 months after this time we are unable to obtain service.

Logitech do offer a 2 year service but the 2nd year is exclusively with themselves, we dont at any point deal with Logitech and again our suppliers wont take items back from ourselves after 12 months.

In order to obtain warranty at this stage your ONLY option is to seek replacement from Logitech directly as we cannot assist in relation to this.
