Hi guys,
I have an Asus M3A79-T Deluxe, latest BIOS 1501.
I seem to be having a problem with the network adaptor, its rather slow. It only manages around 80KBytes/ps-2MB/ps over my 1Gbit LAN, even my Samsung netbook manages 10MBytes/ps which is around 98% Utilization.
From what I remember it was fine when I was on Windows x86
I have the latest x64 drivers (v11.23.3.3) installed on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate with all the latest updates installed.
I have tried the Asus drivers for Windows 7 x64 and they are no better than the once on Marvell's website.
I have tried various cables I have around the house from CAT5, CAT5e and CAT6. It always connects at 1Gbit on the CAT5e and CAT6 and it should given that the cable is only 2 meters long.
If I can't get it working properly, what PCIe network adaptors would you recommend for a x64 system? I have a stack of Corega GEther PCI-T32's but there are no x64 drivers, least not that I have found
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
