Scan Free delivery with Hexus account query

Hello there,

On the scan webby I linked my Hexus account to benefit from the free delivery offer. When I go in to process the order on-line its still including carriage costs.

I read the details of the offer and apart from the 20 constructive posts requirement and the minimum spend requirement I don't see any other small print. I meet both requirements.

Is there anything else I need to do apart from linking my accounts?

I live in Northern Ireland, I cant see NI being excluded from this offer in its details, is it?

Your last post prior to today was in 2009 so Scan may well decide not to provide free shipping.

Hello Rob,

thanks for linking the guide, I think I had followed it. I just waited till midnight past then tried again incase that was the trick. It wasnt!

I have made a few more posts but your right my previous activity was a while back, but then again they dont say recent activity they just stipulate 20 posts, which I have more than exceeded.

Due to my impatient nature I have gone ahead with the order. Perhaps if a scan rep reads this and I am eligible for free postage they will drop a reply and sort out a postage refund! heres hoping!

From what I remember, NI is not covered by the offer, but you can get a discount off your shipping if you ring up.

Pretty sure what Kalniel has said is true in that SCAN do not offer the free postage to NI

Yes - he's correct. You'll get a reduced carriage, but you'll need to ring to place the order.

Thx for the info. Sucks that it can't be sorted online. Also sucks that no one from scan seems to read the scan customer care boards!!!!

Do any other company's like overclockers for instance offer free postage for board membership?

Maybe, but they always answer the phone when you ring during trading hours.
