    You'll find out tomorrow I guess- although it was my understanding that current stock is either CG or D stepping, and the E steppings would precipitate down the range from the x52s. Still, SSE3 probably makes no difference anyway- I once heard that it was the same instructions as found in 3DNow!+, although that could be just a nasty rumour Still, I find it a bit suspicious that it took AMD less than a year to catch up to Intel on SSE3 whereas the P4 had SSE2 for years before the Hammer came out

    Most of the instructions in SSE3 apparently relate to Hype-threading, so those have probably been ignored.
