Ok - I recently ordered a new system from Scan. What can I say - fantastic service...

However - i ordered a Silverstone TJ06B. I took the advice on the scan website and ordered a Tagan PSU (due to the added length of ATX power cable).... I have now installed it along with a Asus a8n sli deluxe, to find that the 24 pin ATX connector is about 2 inches short and the 12v 4 pin connector is about 8 inches too short

Please, please add a note to your site detailing that with this board and case you WILL need both a 24 pin, as well as a 4 pin 12v extension.

Either that - or source the extensions and stock them yourselves! The only uk site i have found with a 24 pin extension is LinITX.com....

My cables should now arrive on Tuesday.

Apart from that - I am really happy with my new rig. All I need now is some power going to the board & some alcohol to drown my sorrows!

ahh unlucky dude, i had the same problem with my p180 and my tagan, luckily i found scan stocked the extension!

Never mind! You win some - you loose some!

I really think a note should be added to the Silverstone pages for the TJ06B advising that in all liklehood extensions will be required.....

I think the problem is down to the unusual layout of the case

I'll certainly ask for a note about the cable to be added...

Thanks - it would be appreciated & probably work to reduce the chances of some other unfortunate soul going throught the trauma I have!
