The two gigabyte s939 uatx boards dont show up, if you type in "uatx"

    Gorgeous,

The new Socket 939 "microATX" boards should be arriving soon with the new nforce chipset with geforce 6150 integrated graphics. Apperently theres a lot of interest on these motherboards from HTPC builders due to their performance and chipset features.

Hopefully we'll be getting these in abouts a week to 2 weeks time

you want to wait for the new nvidia 6150/430 boards to come out.

the Asus A8N-VM CSM looks like one of the best of the bunch - although if your putting a nice graphics card in then the onboard graphics won't be too important to you.

Okay...all i was saying to steve was that not all the uatx boards come up if you type "uatx" as the search criteria, as neither of the gigabyte s939 uatx m/b's have "uatx" in the product title (I'm assuming you only search the product title and sku).

well im gonna be putting a x880xl in there so infact the gfx wont really be of much interest to me so a non onboard would be better

gonna be using as main pc and will do some gaming on it

which of the 2 ones without onboard vga do you reckon one says hyper transport is 1000 the other 1600 whats this mean i thought it was doubled so does that mean the foxconn is better

Sorry mate but your wrong The foxconn has a HT of 800 which doubles to 1600. The Gigabyte has a HT of 1000 which doubles to 2000.

Also the foxconn only has 2 spaces for ide drives, its an ok board to deal with (i installed on into my mates machine upstairs). I think it has the limited version of the nForce4 chipset though. Oh and the extra usb bracket that comes with it doesnt reach to the usb onbaord header

The gigabyte looks a better cohice for you atm mate. Plus if you get a 2 slot graphics card, it wont take up a valuable pci slot.

    Hi,

Hmm i kind of agree with ^^ MrG , i have a foxconn board in my isotope and although it is a good board, the features are limited especially with OC, i think the Gigabtye one would be the better option imo.

Didnt realise they were uatx boards inside the isotopes, always assumed you used the shuttle type boards in there.
