    City Link how they work?

    hi, can i know how city link works? i am waiting for a delivery today. so if they found no one at the house what will they do? will they attempt to deliver it again on a saturday?

    Probably not on a saturday, they occasionally leave it with a neighbour, or will try to redeliver it on monday, i dare say if you rang them you could get them to deliver it on sat, theyd prob charge you for it though.

    Hi,

    If no one is there they will leave a card so you can ring them to arrange another time for delivery, they wont deliver on a saturday as it is not classed as a standard delievery,

    I often try and pickup from the depo if i have any problems. Scan being the nice people they are allow delivery to a work address, which is great for me as the company I work for also does goods inwards here.

    Bad day for me. The day when u wanted your parcel to be delivered early coz it was my last component of my computer. City Link delay it. i wasted my whole mornign and afternoon waiting for it. and when i had to go to lectures. they only show up and no one was at home!!!! $%£$&^$%&£

    I'm afraid all the delivery firms are similar - the service you get depends very much on your individual driver. Luckily my CityLink guy knows me by now and I'm always at the start of his delivery round - in my hot and sweaties by 9:15.

    Only problem comes is if he's away on hols or summat...
