    Qcollect service

Hi, apologies if this is already mentioned either here or on the Scan site, but I don't seem to be able to find any info about 'Qcollect'.

I'm not too far from Scan, so assume I can order online and collect from Bolton?
Does this mean I don't pay any delivery charges?
Can I place multiple orders over a week or 2 (mostly from the 'today only' page), and pick up at all at once, or do I have to collect within a certain number of days after the order is placed? - I'm sure I could have built my ideal spec Pc just from today only discounted parts

1 - Place an order on the site
2 - Select Collection on the payment details screen
    3 - Complete order
4 - Await stage 3 (order completed) email
5 - Come to the collection area with your invoice number, required form of ID and the card used for the transaction.

No, its a collection from Bolton so you don't pay carriage.
You can place as many orders as you wish, but only one days TodayOnlys are allowed per day. Orders can be kept up to about 1 week.... afaik.

I have checked into this for you and we can hold them for you, before we cancel the order, we would contact you anyway, so at that stage you could just advise them to leave it and that your going to collect in bulk and they would basically keep them indefinately for you, until you advise us otherwise, at the end of the day you have paid for them.

Thanks again for the info, I've placed a few orders and intend to pick up once a week or so (eventually I may be able to build a full PC
Although thanks to the roof man arriving late on Saturday I couldn't make it in time this weekend

Order picked up Friday. The place was packed (2pm ish)! But orders were flying off the shelves and your guys work fast so didn't wait too long for my stuff.

But. checked through the many many bits supplied with the Asus A8N deluxe mobo and found that one (out of 4) of the dual-plug SATA power cables is missing (I checked a few times as it took me a while to identify every extra!). I doubt very much if I'll need that many anyway, not even worked out where they plug in!

I'll forward the thanks on, as they don't get a chance to view this site

Definately the best time of year to use the Q-Collect service, as the queues can be fun otherwise
