    Microsoft Laser 6000 Gaming Problem

just purchased one of the new Microsoft Laser 6000 corded mice and when i move the mouse fast left or right it starts going crazy, moving down and messing up its completely impossible to play with as fast movments just cause this problem everytime. i have tried that default xp mouse drivers and the itellipoint 5.5 drivers and it still has the same problem, is it just a crap mouse or is there a way to fix it.

here is a small movie clip (5mb) showing what i happens when i move the mouse left and right at speed in game.

    is it faulty ?

ps. i have been using microsoft optical blue for almost 6 years now and they were fine, i dont understand why they would make a gaming mouse and then supply you with a mouse thats no good for gaming.

Have you tried the lastest intellipoint software from the MS website?

If so, then contact returns/technical who would be able to check a few things before issuing an RMA etc.

    Best Regards,

We really do need to know what surface you are using it on, and whether you have tried any other surfaces, a different smoothness of mousemat for example.
The latest model of the Logitech Laser Mice (G7) will not work on my Icemat 2 for example, as the laser is picky over which surfaces it will track on.
