    Quiet Intel Pentium D Cooler

    Hello all,

    I'm after a new cooler + fan to replace the stock Intel Pentium D 820. Anyone have any recommendations? At present the case is pretty noisy and it's in my room so if I ever wanted to leave it on overnight it would become pretty distracting.

    Those are all of the options, but as I've never bought a replacement cooler before, I'm after a bit of help.

    Cheers,

    The quietest rated one we have at the present time is the following and this is rated to be 18-20 dB

    According to the coolermaster website this supports the following ;

    Or alternatively you could always go with the ever popular following item ;

    Hope this information helps

    Gone for the Zalman, cheers guys

    I read a review and someone said that they had a drop in 22C temps and it was noticeably quieter than the stock Intel cooler

    Does this come with thermal paste??

    I can confirm it does come with thermal paste.

    It was a bit of a PITA to fit mind, had to dismantle the whole PC to install the backplate on to the motherboard.
