I ordered some stuff from Scan a couple of weeks ago, and some of it was on pre-order so, fair enough, it was dispatched last week.
City Link attempted to deliver the parcel on Wednesday and Thursday and unfortunately, we missed both attempts. However, there's a nice big statement on the delivery card saying that you can pick up within 5 working days (also stated on the Scan delivery page).
Upon going to the depot on Friday (the day after the second attempt) we were told that the parcel had been returned to the company ie. Scan. When we enquired about the 5 day return policy, we were then told that we were too late and they had returned the parcel to the sender (even though we explained that wednesday to friday was in fact only three working days..).
So even if (unlikely as it is) the five days was from the time that Scan dispatched the parcel, we still went to collect it WITHIN the time limit.
-The delivery note said that if they redeliver the following day and you miss it, you must contact CityLink the following evening, we would have done this if this option had been ticked.. yet they tried to deliver anyway on Thursday.
So now, i'm potentially faced with reordering.. is there anything i can do about it?
