Strange order delay e-mail

I've recently ordered some products via yourselfs. It had gotten to stage 2 (payment autorised) by yesterday evening.

This morning i recieved an email, saying my order was delayed due to a stock shortage. The email arrived from an old email account that i no longer have registered with you. (i changed my registered email with yourselfs about 4 months ago). It said that the order was delayed until 03/08. Odd, i thought.

Then later in the day i recieved the remaining two emails confirming dispatch (including the delayed part) to my other (current) email account.

I assume if it mentions that the component has been dispatched in the order dispatched email then it's being sent out and isn't delayed?

Just thought that order delayed mail was a bit random!

This has happened again.

I've ordered a PC case, the order has been delayed and the email delay order has gone to an old email account that I no longer used (only check about once a week).

This could be a security issue as i could reliquish that email account in the future.

I'll pm the order/invoice number and details if needed.

I had that issue of mails to an old address. If you raise an OLQ or ask ChrisP they can sort it out for you.
