THANKYOU SCAN and the review A380 Xclio

Hi all , this is my first so called review of something I bought from scan and uptil yesterday there was very little on th internet about it.

I did promise people a little review and here it is.

Thankyou SCAN for selling such a good case , you know what the consumer wants , hats off to you.

    http://overclock247.com/index.php?board=22.0

It is a great case and yesterday there was a review of the Black one that come in this case but I have done one which is in Silver.

DavidM @ Thanks man the cat is a freindly one and is really sweet.

Theres loads of more pictures to come , still working on it.

It is the best case I have bought. There will be some overclocking results that will make your eyes pop. Give me a few days , got to get it together.

Yes SCAN is the retailer and I thought I should thank them , hopefully look forward to more business with scan

    check temps , onload

    Idle

Man I was biting my nails every second it went through prime , in the end it was stable .

How it all started ,Click link

    http://overclock247.com/index.php?board=22.0

It will slowly come together in the end. A380 has this huge 250mm fans , two of them

    Here are the overclocking results.

I have lost my warranty for the CPU and I plan to check out the E4200 when it comes out , make the most of it I guess.

These overclocks are on air, one day I will try a watercooling kit.

I have noticed that scan makes new things of there own now like the 7950gx2 scan fx , you should make a watercooling kit , you guys make it affordable and the product at the end of the day is the same thing.

Next thing I will try hopefully , your watercooling kit, is there one in the pipeline?

Mate, please please please watch your temps. I'd hate to see you burn out a brand new C2D chip. 70o is probably your absolute max, and 94o is positively burning. I dont know if they're accurate of wrong reported from your motherboard, but seriosuly, be careful!

Good job on the overclock. Shows promise for the cpu, but you need a better cooler or a better thermal contact (you are using thermal compound?).

Scan sell the Corsair Nautillus 500 for £99.99, I run one on my 775 3.4 Extreme Edition and it has no problems. Worth a look for the money - the only thing you need to complete the kit is some distilled water - available from Halfords.

    Matt.
Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net

nope I would drop that clock down to about 400x9 it will be considerably cooler because you could most likely drop the volts as well, also RAM would be running roughly on spec or of course at DDR1000. You need to tell us the rest of your specs
    Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3.2Ghz (400Mhzx8) 1.52V (set in bios, 1.47v real) | 4GB GeIL PC6400 4-4-4-12 | Gigabyte DQ6 @ 1600Mhz | HD2900XT 1GB | Enermax Infiniti 720W | Silverstone TJ07-B with custom watercooling | BenQ FP241WZ
    3dmark05 - 13140 | 3dmark06 - 6698 | SuperPi 1M - 15s

    The Spec is As follows:-
E6600 Retail but no warranty as wesley pointed out , thanks wesley
P5W64-WS Wall Street Quartet Professional -this board is the bomb
TAGAN 900Watt , it came with a leather case.
before THERMAL TAKE Kandalf / A380 CLIO now(MUCH better than kandalf)
2X1GB SuperTalant DDR800 with Dominator memory Fan
XFX 7950GX2 XXX (overkill of a card
XFI ELITE PRO with CONSOLE + 7.1 GIGAWORKS speaker set = Match made in heaven
300gb X 3HDD = plenty storage for all kinds of useless stuff we download
Scythe INFINITY using TIM Coolaborotory Liquid Pro 0.5gramm of that. Also a Lapping KIT (not bad , grown fond of it but overpriced)
2 DVD writers and 1 lovely floppy drive
    4 I box thermaltake draws.

The overclocked system I showed you a picture of is only for testing its capabilities , I am running 24/7 at 3.500ghz that way I can still run my ram at DDR1000. As long as the CPU gives me a year I am happy , the chances are I will have something different by then , you know what its like being a enthusiast .I aw that when Iwas running it at 3980mhz I was seeing a loss in performance so I thought let me teak it right.

I don't spend on anything else , I am not to fussy on what I wear or what I drive but I love my PC cos I handpicked the parts , then made it and then finally tweaked it.

I want a Quad core in this system when I get Vista and after that its going to be a Bearlake chipset. Also I make and repair PC's since the last four months as a part time thing to get me experiance for comptia A+, Comptia N+ and MCSA . I have finished my A+ and doing my N+ and having knowledge and the love for it makes it that more easier.

Nice machine mate. Waiting for the P5N32 premium motherboard to come out, then I can finish my machine. My spec will be the same with Corsair memory and two superclocked EVGA cards running Quad-Sli.

It really doesnt work out that expensive..... once I've got all the parts I'll total up the cost. All of the parts, except for the case will be from Scan.
