    Scan Finance, Orders and Stock Problems!

    Before I get started I would just like to add that I have made countless orders with scan in the past and had no issues however this time I decided to use finance as a payment option.

    My issues is, is that after I placed my order I was taken through to the finance area after which your credit is checked which went through fine, the agreement was printed signed and returned and I had an email saying that the supplier has been told they can now release the goods.

    The problem now is, is that there is no order in the order history page of my account, there is however the order I placed using switch as payment, does scan only list orders which have been made using a card in the orders history area and not finance orders. I was worried when their was nothing their, it has now been 3 days I have not had any emails either.

    Now theirs 4 products out of stock that I ordered which is a kick in the teeth but these things happen I just hope I don’t have to wait to long!

    So has anyone else had a problem with finance orders as I have acknowledgment from V12 but nothing from scan confirming my order details! Worrying.

    The problem is mostly due to the fact i have no invoice number or confirmation of my order

    Yes, Finance orders do not appear in order history at the moment. This is something that is being addressed for the future.

    Ahh thanks ive PM'd you Chris, Would be a good feature to impliment finance orders into the order history area although i can see the complications it opposes.

    But a quick question if you could answer? Will you (scan) pick the items which are in stock out and put them aside for my order and then wait for the other items to come into stock or do i have to wait untill all items are in stock!!!

    Would the best option be to split my oder so the items that are in stock are sent out immediately and those that are not are shipped when they come instock as i can see the waiting game lasting a long long time

    I believe one item on your order may be out of stock. If you can contact Customer Services, we should be able to change to an alternative.
