    Unhappy Delivery Costs (to NI)

Hi, I went to buy some memory from the today only page the other day (1gig ddr2 2x512) and the cheapest delivery option I could find was £23 or so on a £58 item. Needless to say I didn't buy.

Did I miss a delivery option?

if I didn't is there a chance of getting royal mail delivery added as an option on small parcels for NI? they don't charge extra for delivery here from england.

No, we have gone through this before and we have no plans at all for using the Royal Mail.

Although Northern Ireland Hexites cannot get free carriage online - if you qualify (ie 25 posts, active member on the forum) then we will give a slight discount for telephone orders...

Don't forget - the price is only set as it is because it reflects the actual cost to ourselves.

No worries, I appreciate the couriers charge a premium and you have to pass it on. The shame is in most cases it removes your excellent price advantage over other lesser? etailers. Just means when i spot an attractive buy on your well laid out site i then move to competitors to search for the item at cheaper delivery, which usually works out cheaper even if the item is more expensive.. I wish I had a mate who lived near bolton the perfect solution.

    thanks for the swift reply.
