Exclamation E-Buyer Delivery : Now takes Longer and costs more

Anyone noticed that E-buyer have introduced a new delivery pricing/policy.

Standard Service - 4 days instead of 3 days
    >edit< Super Saver - 6-7 days about 20% saving off Standard service cost

    Priority Service - 2 Days +£4.50 +VAT
    Priority Express Service - 1 Day +£10.50 +VAT
    Saturday Delivery - +£25.00 +VAT

So basically they've pushed their next days service to 2 days and introduced a new super expensive next day service.

I know they're cheap but these are one more reason not to use them.

Has anyone noticed anywhere else increasing delivery charges?

    When did they change this?

Standard (4day) postage is still pretty cheap though.
and Super Saver is even cheaper but takes 7 days! (which is ages!) - They should do a "Royal Mail Recorded" and "Special Delivery" through the royal mail for small stuff, that would make it even cheaper and still fast.

I'm sorry I'd rather get my stuff elsewhere, because generally when I need something, I need it next day, and I ain't gonna pay that much either.

I noticed this when I placed an order with them a few days ago.
Bit of a rip-off really, it pushes the prices up to some other vendors when you add their delivery on.
I usually use the super saver delivery option (cheapskate)

Heh, I think it was £4.50 for Dabs delivery, ordered it Saturday and arrived Monday morning. Not bad considering it was the weekend.

Has dabs delivery gone up now? Used to be just £3.50 (was last week, anyway). Bloody good for a 19 inch CRT, eh?

Indeed Saturday Delivery £25 , what do they bloody pay the couriers with Gold dust.

I think this just pushes me back towards Aria, Dabs and CCL for my high value purchases that have a good premium on them for the retailer.

I'll just be using e-buyer for cheap stuff like £1.50 Keyboards and 50p Mice.

Komplett = Win. Especially as they have just cut ALL of their Athlon64 prices and have all them in stock too.

Super Saver - 6-7 days about 20% saving off Standard service cost
So if super saver saves you 20% perhaps next 2 days delivery should cost 20% more.
The only attraction of e-buyer is price, but they just lost £400 worth of shuttle orders today from me, maybe another £150 CPU.
This is one of the final nails :-0

And their RMA service is shocking. Send back a hard drive, they confirm it as faulty, then make you wait while they send it back to the manufacturers. Most places will give you a new one from stock and then take it up with the manufacturers.

I had to send some memory back to them last year as it was DoA.
To be fair to them I had an RMA number within 2 days and they tested it as faulty within 4
Just took them 2 months to re-credit my card and that was when I complained to the card company about it.
I wonder how long it would have taken if they had not gotten involved.
