    We have a PO outstanding from the 19th November so we would be expecting stock any day now.

    As soon as the stock lands the web site will be updated for you

    Regards

    I hope you're getting a decent allocation (i.e. 1 metric butload) of this RAM as I think there are quite a few people waiting for it

    Can anyone confirm of the issues with this memory and the Asus P5B Deluxe have been resolved (i.e. through BIOS update)? I have seen a few posts on this but they were from July/August and not much since then?

    It does look to have stabled a bit more now with the release of more mature BIOS revisions for the motherboards.

    @redsky009

    Not sure if the P5B Deluxe and the alternative "Wi-Fi" edition are comparable/run the same BIOS? (Asus support website is soooo slow I can't find out...). But if it's useful, I am running an Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi with LN11596 memory, no issues to date. I did, however, upgrade the BIOS to the latest (0804?) before installing this memory....

    Cheers,

    Don't have a floppy.... Did wonder whether to try via USB drive, but opted to use the Windows AsusUpdate utility that comes on the CD supplied with the motherboard. I seem to recall that you can start up the utility and get it to go off and get the latest BIOS (I may be wrong...) - but I opted to download the BIOS from the Asus support website separately (during one of the times when it wasn't running slower than a hedgehog wading through treacle), and just point the utiliity at the downloaded file. Update worked with no hiccups....

    Which is all good - unless you're planning to use Linux....??...

    Nah going to run XP, but as its a completely new build I don't have an other RAM to run it on to open the Asus update thingy - I might ask Scan if they can do it before shipping it out otherwise will try the USB method.. cheers

    Hope its all sorted now. Just ordered the P5B-E and the LN11596 memory.

    Were the compatability problems with these two discussed on this forum or on another?

    Thanks
