Pre-Order price change policy

I am a new Scan customer and forum member so apologies if this has been covered before.

I was just wondering what Scan's policy is regarding price changes on orders held up due to pre-order items. What happens if an item (either pre-order or in-stock) goes up or down in price between the time the order is placed and the time it ships?

e.g. Say I order X & Y and Y is a preorder item, so my order is not shipped. Some time later Y comes into stock but the price goes up. Am I charged extra? What if the price of X went down whilst I was waiting for Y?

I am actualy interested in this as well, espcialy considering the way memory prices are going at the moment.
