    Ergh, Ordered the wrong thing

    Hi guys

I made an order at the start of the week which I recieved today. One part was a Logitech Headset and Mic (LN6841). It was to use with my Macbook Pro as well as my PC - and it turns out my Macbook Pro has a line-in port only and no Mic port. So basically I need the USB version of these.

I know there is no chance of you taking them back cause a) its my fault for ordering the wrong thing and b) I had to rip the packaging open cause it was that stupid welded plastic, but would there be any chance of waiving the delivery charges if I order the more expensive USB version?

I know its cheeky but it would come to 40 quid with P+P.

    Any help is appreciated

Is Line In not the same as a mic port?

I dont think its a case of whether they are the same.

I think the way Apple have implemented it is the device being plugged into the port on the computer must be self-powered. There is something that I could buy that will power the mic I just got but its as expensive as the USB headset. Actually managed to find the USB headset on fleabay a bit cheaper so will do that.

Will serve me right for not checking what I am buying.

    Thanks
