Re: Suggest a Simple Gaming Mouse for c.£25

    I know old thread ressurection.

How did it go with the G5? I love mine so much i've had 3 so far and they have all failed under warranty but I love them too much to get anything else.

I've got a niggly software problem at the moment, where it loses my button setup back to standard, I just reload the software and it works again. Only ever happens in games though.

    Any ideas?

I never got round to using the features too much, it was a little bit to angled and small for my hand.
I really need an ambi one that isn't too flat, so I'm back to my LX6 wireless.
I found it performed very well, the adjustable wieghts are abit gimmicky for me...

So basically I need a Logitech LX6 wired with a better dpi sensor :-)

The Logitech RX1500 may fit the bill:

Get a Microsoft Habu. I got one on Ebay a while back for £5. Best investment yet. Changed it to the Razer Copperhead and its not as nice to use.

They always were, ebay sometimes gives cheap second hand deals though if you're lucky.

+1 here too for the MX518. Suits my fat hands.
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

I have the MX6880. paid £9.99 for it a few months back, allthough £10.99 and out of stock at the moment.. http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/797659...k/Product.html

Very nice mouse, accurate and weighted about right for me. Expensive mice are over-rated, espeicelly if you go through the things like me.

Either the MX518, can't really fault it at all, it just works...a design classic. Also have a look at the Microsoft Habu, love mine tbh. Made by Razer, adjustable weights, all the usual whistles & bells.

MX512 'Batman' edition. Other than the logo, it's a bit less blingified than the standard MX518. Mouse itself is excellent.

Before that I had the Logitech Click Plus! It's quite a good wireless mouse, but began to become prone to interference at home. I moved it to work and the problem has not reoccurred.

The 518 doesn't have a laser. It's 20 constructive posts for free delivery, by the way.
