    1TB hotswap sata raid box

Hmmm nice hotswap sata raid5 external network storage:

750GB of storage, with hot swap, and raid5
(one drive can die, and you lose no data)

    Insight

    ..if only it were cheaper.

buy a SFF machine and make your own. Much more flexible.

I've bought one of these from Origin themselves in Basingstoke for work.

FYI their throughput is poor compared to say a server with RAID and Windows installed, plus they're supposed to work with Active Directory but the support is flaky at the best of times.

I think people are asking Thecus, the manufacturer, some difficult questions as the forum on their website is now off-line
