I'm not much of a gamer myself so can't really give you much help, but so that the people who do know what they're talking about can help you best, you'll probably need to at least give them a budget and if it's AGP, PCI-e or either.

There are a large number of cards that will run these games, but the better the card, the higher resolution you can run the games at (providing you have a half decent monitor too) with lots more of the graphical features on.

Not too familiar with many US companies (this being a UK forum and all) but you can't go wrong with something like a GeForce 6600, and a GT model if you can stretch to it.

I think Battlefield 2 will push it more than the others, but you may be able to get 1024 x 768 with minimal options on.

You could try an XFX 6800xt.
It can be unlocked using Rivatuner to 16 pixel pipes and 8 vertex shaders and overclocked to 375Mhz core and 410(820)mhz memory.
    Gets 11,575 3Dmark 03 and 4,733 3DMark 05.
Here in the UK it costs £99 + Vat(tax) so where you are it shouldn't be much over $120 + Tax.

That would probably be the PCI-E version, unless its like the LE, in which case its less/worse than the standard 6800, which I bought for £130 about a week ago. Unlcoked it using riva tuner and saved myself £70

Sounds interesting. You're talking about the 6800 XT? So am I right in thinking it's like Nvidia's answer to the GTO2? I'm intrigued.

No, it's the AGP version. I think it's just a new name for the LE.
It come as standard at 325/700.
Correction, it unlocks to 16/6 not 16/8 as stated above. Not all cards will unlock to 16/6 without artifacts but it's worth a try.

my 9800pro runs BF2 at 1280 without any problems a 256mb 6600gt should see you through most of those games I would have thought. If you can though, aim higher at 6800 / 6800gt cards I guess. 256mb memory might help too, though that generally pushes up the price...

Just took off the heatsink (to install an NV Silencer) and on the little chrome surround it says 6800le so this is probably just an LE with a bios change.
As a side note, the Silencer drops the core temp from 63 to 43 degrees and because it exhauts out the back of the pc, the cpu temp has dropped by about 10 degrees too. Cool.
