Need a New Cam

last night i went out to my mates party unfortunately during the night my camera got mislayed and has completely disappeared so i need a new one my old cam was a olympus mju mini which i loved im always going gigs so i want a cam that is good for action pictures also id like one iwht a big battery life or one that used like aa batteries or somiething because i could only take like 200 pics with mju mini without usin the flash then it was dead. i would like to become a professional gig photographer and love doing photography so i need a good cam my budget is about 100 - 200 quid

Battery life: 500 shots

High ISO settings upto 1600 (good for night shots, or faster shutter speeds), camera also has a "High speed mode" making it quicker as well - should be good for action shots.

On offer at amazon for 200 quid. I despirately want one of these, this deffo the most pro you'll get for your money.

If you're patient, and don't mind used items, I recommend the Panasonic FZ20, 5MP, 12x OPTICAL zoom, very nice camera

fuji s7000 looks VERY nice not to keen on buying cam off ebay last time i did it took 8 weeks to arrive auction said 1 - 3 days :|

You're right there's always a risk w/ ebay.

Ive got an F10 and it takes some cracking shots. It has just been replaced by the F11 so you should be able to get a good bargain on it.
