I'm thinking of taking the plunge into the big screen department. Alas, I doubt I'll get anything for Englands first game.

I'm looking at the Pioneer 436-XDE. Could anyone recomend a good supplier?

I got my HDTV from Webelectricals - they were ideal, though the delivery was a balls up - took the company 3 days to deliver. Each day the company didn't bother telling me they couldn't be arsed to load the tv on the van.

Don't know if it's too late, but you may want to take a look at John Lewis.

That's where we got our plasma from and it comes with a 5 year guarantee which is definitely worth having. We also picked it up from their warehouse the same day.

Of all places, Dixons on the web seems to be the place to buy this particular tv.... although they are perma-out of stock atm :O(
