Getting RMA on second hand item.

My X1900XTX just stopped working. Bought it from another forum a while back but received no receipt with it, which is understandable. Dropped the guy a PM anyway and I've seen him post on said forum so I know he's not scarpered. If he gets back to me and doesn't have it, but knows where he bought it from can I do anything? Or am I up the sh...ugar creek without a paddle?

Try with the board producer. A few white lies might work

"bought from eBay, seller is no longer available" etc.

It's a Powercolor card so there's not a much point really since they only have contact methods to their Taiwanese branches, not seen anything EU on their site =/

Yeah the site seems to send you round in circles when you try to RMA something try a direct email to them, though finding an adress will be fun

I think for powercolour you have to go through a reseller..their RMA website is:

Yeah, have to go through the shop it was bought from which I found out was OcUK...erk. Can't do anything for the moment, have to wait till the guy I bought it from gets the order number from when he bought it.

just make up an invoice for 'LOCAL COMPUTERS' and say theyve gone bust. always works, so i've heard.
