Where to buy a HIS ATI Radeon 1900XT from (other than OCUK)?

This is my first post here at HEXUS, and I've only just discovered the site. I've had a quick look around and it seems really good. I'm glad that there's a place like this that's relevant to people in the UK.

Anyhow, I want to get one of those quiet HIS 1900XTs, but the only place I can find that sells them is OCUK. I had a quick look at those recent threads on OCUK, and realise that I'd have to be an idiot to spend over £200 and buy something from a company that has such horror stories attached.

So can anyone point me to a retailer that also sells these cards?

    Thanks.

I have some options for you, although none is exactly what you requested:

    1) X1900XT (Sapphire) £225 from Dabs
    2) Same card from Scan for £216 although pre-order only.
    3) The 256Mb version, from Komplett, for £184.
    4) The X1900GT (still powerful), Dabs £142

Then to get the peace and quiet that you need, replace than Heatsink/fan with this Arctic Cooler Accelero for £14 from Scan. (Review here).
    Hope that helps

    Thanks for the replies, all.

I was hoping to order from Scan, but I spoke to them today and they said that they're unlikely to ever get any more 1900XTs, since they've been discontinued. They suggested I wait for the 1950s.

So I will wait for a week or two and see how much the 1950s cost, and how this affects 1900XT prices (if there are any left to buy). I'm not in any particular rush, so I'll sit tight for the time being.

I've used OCUK quite a few times, and I've not had any problems with them at all. My most recent purchase was the X1900XT, at £200, it was an absolute bargin

I have to be careful of libel (or is it slander?), but some people here (not me) have reported issues with OCUK's wider political and idealogical stances, and therefore boycott them.
Other people have just had bad experiences (although truth be told i used to use them and they worked for me).

I guess that mostly people with bad experiences will post, not those with good, but I've only bought a few things of them and the last was a few months ago, an X1800XT and a 580w Hoper PSU. Both came really quickly, and worked great.

Was a bit apprehensive because of all the things I'd heard of them, but no problems my end. The only thing was that the price of the X1800XT continued to drop after I ordered it. B@stards!!!
