Scan to split Intel Quad Q6600 GO Stepping CPU's !!!

    Ok Guys.... Very good news

I have just had confirmation that the powers that be have decided Scan will be splitting Q6600 G0 stock.... , which you have all been waiting for

We will create a new SKU for the G0 stock, to guarantee you receive this stepping ...

Unlike other Retailer's Scan will not be charging any extra for this privilege and of course SCAN2HEXUS Free carriage is still available as well

We have no G0 stock at the moment and Intel cannot provide an ETA of when the G0 stepping will start to ship or how many we will receive, however we will monitor this closely and I will update this thread as soon as the G0 stock becomes an option so you place your order.

This is the first time Scan has done something like this and the decision has been made due to this popular request.

Watch this space for any updates

    Best Regards

Great. Another reason to get a Q6600 over an E6750. Now which do I chose

Nice one. I think I might well have to make my card cry some more when you get stock

I am considering getting one of these now. Maybe when the G0 stock comes in the price will be lower - depending how long it takes
