    How is FIFA 08 shaping up?

    I had a look at some of the videos online and it looks pretty good. My biggest gripe with 07 was that it sometimes felt as you had limited control over the players, pro evo felt like you had a greater range of movement, fifa felt like the player was running through quicksand!

    I think if Konami get pro2008 right for next gen (ie better AI and dont leave half the features out!) it will still be the better game!

    Agree with that, the last pro evo had a 'dumbed down' version for console, when i bought it on the pc it was like a different game.
    It looks like now though they've put all the good stuff back with some extras aswell, shaping up to be very good indeed.

    Agree that ProEvo to me is the prefered football game, but there is also interesting news about how fifa08 will play online on 360 and PS3. Allowing people to actually control a single player on the pitch with big online games with others.
