    Foxconn G33M-S

    We're taking a close look at Foxconn's microATX G33M-S mainboard. This G33-based board sports Intel's latest integrated graphics processor, the GMA 3100, but can that get the better of the current IGP champion, AMD's 690G?

    I have the dell version of this board in the Dell Vostro 200 - although it has the Dell bios - it doesn't support the quad core 2.4ghz chip due to lack of 1066fsb support. A major PITA as nearly every other G33 board does...

    I also have a Dell Vostro, the board in it is very different to the G33M-S however.

    1066FSB support is included on the Dell board, they sell the system with the option of 1066FSB (and 1333FSB) dual-core parts. I assume Dell have locked it down to not support the quads however.
