ManHunt 2 finally granted rating for UK release

sorry to double post but i read the end of the article and it said this:

But now, when you move in for the kill, the screen darkens and the action blurs. How is anyone going to get properly desensitised that way?

how is that not changing much taking out the bloodthirst of the game! psycho's like me need this!

As has been said, I dare say a patch will become available, through official or unofficial channels that disables it.

I'm surprised that there has been so much controversy over it, as long as it is only available to those over 18 then it shouldn't cause too many problems

its those idiotic mums who buy these games for their infant child, see whats happening on screen and then think its the game's that are in the wrong and not them for buying their 12 year old Angel an 18+ copy of Manhunt.

They will obviously have the content somewhere and had to remove it to make them happy. So id be surprised if their wont be a patch for it as it will be faily easy for tem to turn into a patch

The reviews I`ve read of the game all seemed to say it wasnt tat special really a bit average as a game.

I will give it a go just to see what all the fuss was.

The big problem atm is that because the game industry is so young and there are people like jack thompson out there whenever there is a killing or someone does something sutpid video games are the obvious place to lay blame not the parents who buy the games.

Its wrong I know but I would find it funny if Jack thompsons own siblings flipped out and tried to kill him. Who would he blame then?

The video games, obviously! Jack believes that the mere worldly prescence of such games corrupts children regardless of the efforts of their parents to prevent them having them (or not, parents shouldn't have to worry about such things as 'responsibility' for their kids).

Played this a bit last night and I am not impressed at all.

The hype will not doubt help to sell a load of copies of this but the game is pretty dire. THe controls feel clumsy and the game just doesnt feel that much fun

I got this on the PSP, uncensored..
It's alright, can't say I can really get into it though.. feels too much like you're just doing the same thing over and over.
