but thats the thing the cables and the connections will dwarf the thing and make it much mroe of a mess. it needs to have a tiny inbuilt PSU and bluetooth so it can connect to most things without the need for a cable, bar the display. i can't understand why it uses a laptop harddrive, an IDE of all things...

Because its a geode, i doubt AMD are that worried about adding SATA support to a chip thats designed to do what the geode does.
