    I would hold off for a while before you download this. The DivX page shows DivX 7 and also has a link to download it but when you do grab it, the installer is for 6.8. Looks like they have spooned the link to the latest version 7 on their homepage.

    H.264 / AAC encoding and decoding (using the .mkv container) has been around for a few years now so what has taken DivX so long to incorporate this? Is it even worth getting DivX, is it not just marketing ploy or have I completely missed something?

    Still not forgiven them for installing malwear (Gator i think) with every copy of DivX.
