some good ideas but how can you plan to implement technology over a 3 year scale? By 2012 2Mb/s may as well be 56K
Technology is something you plan and do ASAP due to the speed of development. By 2012 this plan will be old fashioned and out of date.

I'm sorry - this is a waste of time. I've got some friends who don't have a computer, don't want a computer - I've even offered them one for free and there still not interested. Why would they want broadband???
By all means make it cheaper for those who want it but can't afford it, but forcing it on everyone is not right.
I see in the news today over at TechPower that Korea is plannig to get in plaec a 1GB/s infastructure to its public by 2012.....
BT and UK goverment take the complete piss by aiming for 2Mb/s for this country. Once a great nation, once a leading nation in the world, now left in the dust of most countries...
Gordon Brown you suck, the sooner your brushed to one side the better, and please remove you ugly face from the public eye !!!! Gurrrr
Sorry, but rubbish.
Despite being Chancellor for 10 years, he's a politician with a professional background in politics, and a speciality in political history and biographies. He is not an economist, not a banker and not an accountant. I qualify on two out of those three.
It's precisely because he was Chancellor for 10 years, and bigged up his competence despite not knowing his elbow from a hole in the ground that we're in the mess we're in now. "Abolished boom and bust" indeed.
There are a LOT of people that know more about money than him .... including my cat. And I don't have a cat.
Sorry you've posted this on the incorrect forum, think you meant to post on ' I think Gordon Brown Rules, but I have no clue '
If Gordon Brown is so good at money, how is it he let the country get into the problems its in now. Its Gordons and Labours fault... Gordon Brown you complete
