i honestly dont mind spending over £100 on a GOOD HIGH QUALITY case... that not only looks good but has functionality.
most cases today look fugly.. and its a real shame. or look good but have some right annoying bits.
I know what you mean. I bought a lovely extra-value case this week - mATX tower, surprisingly well built for £20, nice easy tool-free access, well designed inners: but the front fan power cable was trapped inside the fascia, forcing me to take it off and feed the connector through a fairly tight hole, and now it appears that the power switch is sticky - sometimes it works OK, but often you hear the "click" of the switch releasing as much as 2 seconds after you've pressed it. The 3 series is a very good value series, and I think Coolermaster need to note that the Lian Li / Sivlerstone buyers aren't interested in silly designs, they want simple, quality and functional.
The high end cases from coolermaster are over the top. The HAF is brilliant but way over priced...
Just brought my new full tower Lian Li and the only Coolermaster case I looked at was the HAF but was not spending £200 on a cooler master case...
The cm case have always been good quality, not the best but still good.
I do find I often like there quasi military styling, I still like the looks of the old lan Ammo case
However that HAF 922 really doesn't look nice even to my eyes, cooling looks good case ugly.
Storm Scout looks quite good, even if it's just a cm 590 with a new side panel and handles on top.
The windowed side panel on that new Elite 331 is nice looking, however the front . . . can you say Akasa Zen?
And then you tantalize us with a hint about another case.
Personally I think the real problems in the case market atm, is a combination of the credit crunch and the fall of the Pound.
So prices have been pushed up while people are less willing to spend/looking for areas to cut costs on (the case becomes a big target for cost cutting)

I think Coolermaster have already done many many many cases with the Hard drive cage facing Left/right side of the case like the : HAF932, HAF 922 , SNIPER , SCOUT , ATCS-840 , GLADIATOR 600 , CM690 , etc , etc , I think Coolermaster need to know that there are also people looking for Stacker style cases with the hard drive cage facing Front/Back of the case like the CM590 and COSMOS " S " , I think there is a lack of Stacker Style cases to choose , Coolermaster forgot that there are people looking for Stacker Style cases , the age of the Hard Drive Disk is over , therefore is not necessary ANYMORE to cool the Solid State drive
Far from it, HDDs will be around for at the very least least 5 years yet matey.

Unless you can fit your HDD without removing both side panels (AFAIK Antec 900/1200, Stackers, Cosmos S etc...) then I don't see any advantage with that method of mounting.
Do you need to swap your HDD everyday ? , two years ago I installed my HDD and since that day was not necessary to touch anymore my HDD
past 2 years i've switched around my HDDs quite a few times, the point is, why is it necessary to remove both sides of the case panels to install a drive?
I don't have a great deal of room to begin with, the right side of the case is up against the wall, I need to make room, drag it out, fiddle around just to install 1 drive. I'm glad it only takes a few seconds to remove/install a drive in the HAF, but the task is still unnecessarily long.
The upcoming Corsair case with hotswap bays looks like you don't even need to remove either side of the case panels.
I've always been a fan of coolermaster's lower end cases. I've now owned 2 of their Centurion range, and they're well designed, largely tool-free, solidly built, understatedly handsome, and generally great value. Look forward to seeing this helicopter inspired one too
I quite like the look of the elite.
But I doubt serious OCers would go for it as airflow cant be too good in a £25 case.
I want to see a updated CM690, as thats gonna be my new case for my build but its not too good looking I must admit and if I add a side panel window then I will loose one of the side fans unless I do it myself.
