    News - Toshiba details its first standalone Blu-ray player

    Remote looks very simple and nice. I like simple.

    I wonder what the start up time on bluray discs will be. Once they get down below 20 seconds on a player I may invest but until the technology shows a real 100% improvement over DVD I don't see the point.
