    This isn't fair to Vista as drivers weren't mature for the OS when it was released. If Windows 7 is great it is because Windows Vista prepared it to be that way. Viva la Vista!

    This is very true on the driver front - and moreso in the new technologies Vista brought to the Windows platform (there was a lot of good in Vista). That said, 7's focus on performance is what really sets it apart - Vista did suck on laptops or old PCs, 7 does not. But it matters not, now that Vista is obsolete.
